    Kim is from Upstate New York, but Charlotte is her home! She fell in love with helping people at a young age and has continued to widen her scope of practice/study to become a leader in the fitness and health industry. Kim believes in treating the complete person at any age and  any level to help them reach their goals.

    She is one of the original Co-Owners of Balance Fitness Studio from 2002, and is the sole Owner/Operator of reBalance.       As a high school athlete in Florida, Susanne learned early on the relationship between cross training and performance. Weight lifting and running became staples in her training regime as a player on the women’s soccer team at Wingate University. As she continued to integrate a variety of activities into her own personal fitness program and saw her conditioning soar, it increased her enthusiasm for the art of keeping fit.

      I love helping others…it’s my passion. As an individual, sometimes it’s hard to motivate and commit yourself to working out. Seeing results physically and getting good reports from your doctor after check-ups are great motivators.

        Ben is a specialist in High Intensity Interval Training, Program Design (offline/online) General Fitness, Group Class and post Physical Therapy rehab with over 13 years of industry experience.

        Ben graduated from UNCG with a BS in Exercise Sports Science and a Minor in Business. He returned to Charlotte, where he completed an internship at Velocity Sports Performance. His focus there was working with adolescents from middle school through college on speed, agility, strength and conditioning for various sports.

        Ben views fitness as a life-long goal and something to work towards each and every day. His philosophy is, “the most important part of fitness is finding a program that both challenges and rewards you; something that is tailored to your inner athlete.”

          Kai Griffin, a creative, innovative and intensely trained wellness professional specializing in trendsetting fitness and beauty. Kai’s expertise and principles, brought to the reBalance Fitness team, span over 16 years, 16 countries and 4 continents. A crackerjack ace in his industries, Kai has an innate ability to connect, engage and motivate people with his finely tuned fortes: knowledge and humor. Kai holds certifications through ACE, including the prestigious CFNS (Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist), and AFAA and is a registered Continuing Education Provider for both. Kai is also a registered instructor with Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and Balanced Body (BBU). Kai’s training expertise is a synergistic fusion of functional strength, core-centric strength, flexibility and metabolic conditioning.

          When not teaching and training in the fitness world, Kai spends his time in the world of beauty. While happily maintaining a devoted salon clientele, Kai’s hair and makeup work has been featured at New York Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week, Sundance Film Festival, The Democratic National Convention and Cannes Film Festival, to name a few.

          With the ability to combine his two passions, fitness and beauty, into one reticulate career, Kai considers himself “one of the luckiest guys in the world”.

            Jaye has been teaching group fitness classes and personal training for more than 8 years. He is a Certified Functional Strength Coach, Functional Movement Screen certified, as well as a Crossfit Level II Trainer.

              Jodi Moore

              Jodi holds certifications as both a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) and a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach (Pn1). She has had a lifelong passion for movement and good health, and loves being able to help make a real, positive impact on people’s lives!

              When Jodi is not helping clients, she can be found hiking with her fiancé Chris and their two dogs or hanging out with friends. She is a big fan of laughing, hiking, ice cream, an epic salad (yes, seriously), local craft beer, and a good glass of wine. After all, life should be enjoyed… Right?

                Hannah is a graduate of Purdue University where she earned her B.S. in Kinesiology and her Master’s of Public Health. She is passionate about helping others live life to its full potential and become the happiest and most confident versions of themselves. She believes the foundation of making that happen is a achieving optimal health. She strives to provide her clients the knowledge and motivation to build better better habits, reach their health and fitness goals, and have fun while doing so.

                Hannah is committed to leading a healthy lifestyle herself,  but loves to treat herself to her favorites: (basically all) sweets, pizza, tacos & margaritas, cereal (biggest weakness) and the countless breweries in Charlotte! A healthy lifestyle is about balance, NOT restrictions.
