Owner (MS EXPHYS, ATC, CPT, CF-L1, CNS)

Kim is from Upstate New York, but Charlotte is her home! She fell in love with helping people at a young age and has continued to widen her scope of practice/study to become a leader in the fitness and health industry. Kim believes in treating the complete person at any age and  any level to help them reach their goals.

She is one of the original Co-Owners of Balance Fitness Studio from 2002, and is the sole Owner/Operator of reBalance. As a Health Educator for Total Nutrition Technology for the last 12 years, she loves educating people on how to eat for their lifestyle to reach their desired body composition through proper nutrition; not dieting.

 

SUSANNE WARE

SUSANNE WARE

TRAINER (BS, NASM-CPT, CNS, CF-L1)

As a high school athlete in Florida, Susanne learned early on the relationship between cross training and performance. Weight lifting and running became staples in her training regime as a player on the women’s soccer team at Wingate University. As she continued to integrate a variety of activities into her own personal fitness program and saw her conditioning soar, it increased her enthusiasm for the art of keeping fit.


Susanne has a passion for helping others. She believes it’s hard from some individuals to motivate, and then commit, to working out. However, working with a personal trainer can lead to getting results both physically and mentally. Plus, getting a good report from a doctor is a great motivator too!

Hannah is a graduate of Purdue University where she earned her B.S. in Kinesiology and her Master’s of Public Health. She is passionate about helping others live life to its full potential and become the happiest and most confident versions of themselves. She believes the foundation of making that happen is a achieving optimal health. She strives to provide her clients the knowledge and motivation to build better better habits, reach their health and fitness goals, and have fun while doing so.

Hannah is committed to leading a healthy lifestyle herself,  but loves to treat herself to her favorites: (basically all) sweets, pizza, tacos & margaritas, cereal (biggest weakness) and the countless breweries in Charlotte! A healthy lifestyle is about balance, NOT restrictions.

ASHLEY WIDENER

ASHLEY WIDENER

TRAINER (NASM-CPT, HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACH)

 

While living in LA, Ashley spent two years training and working for Steve Zim, celebrity trainer and New York Times best-selling author. She has worked as a fitness model and was featured in a televised segment on Fitness and Working Mom’s on KCAL-Los Angeles in 2011.

After over 20 years in healthcare administration, Ashley decided to channel her passion for fitness and helping others into a career focused on health and wellness. Her main goal is to help women, especially mothers, take the time to care for themselves and improve their overall health and fitness. She recently received her NASM CPT certification, is studying MNR-Neuromuscular Reflex Integration and is working towards a corrective exercise specialization.

Ashley attended Charlotte Country Day School and received a B.A. in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. She has three children and enjoys living an active life surrounded by family and friends.

 

 

Jenna Scanlan

TRAINER (PT, DPT, CPT)

 

Jenna is originally from the Washington, DC area, but recently moved to Charlotte. She has an extensive background related to fitness- playing sports growing up, physical therapy with a special interest in pediatrics, and personal training. Jenna is excited to personal train and educate motivated clients in the gym. She has a passion for personal fitness and fitness education. She believes a variety of fitness techniques is necessary in order to meet fitness goals.
