YOGA CLASSES:

Fit Flow (Catherine Lynn)

A fitness-yoga blend offering a full body workout through isometric movements, balance training, and flow of yoga postures.  Breath and movement linked bringing a core focus throughout class. Modification and progression options for varied levels.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

We will flow with the breath and incorporate strengthening poses as well as flexibility. This class will be open for all levels.

reBalance Flow Yoga (Martha Blanchard)

This our signature vinyasa flow class. We specialized in modifying the traditional Charlotte flow into a more therapeutic class. Challenging but tailored to meet the needs of our clients. This class will teach you the foundations, correct posturing as well as advanced asana’s if that is your personal practice. This class focuses on strength, flexibility, and form. Practice may include pranayama, mudra, and meditation with the intent of giving the client the most benefit of the time spent on the mat. Classes are perfect for all practitioners, beginners to advanced.

 

MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Catherine Lynn

Catherine Lynn

Yoga Instructor

Catherine is an RN and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.  She brings simplicity to health and wellness with a realistic, enjoyment approach.  She is a certified Barre Above Instructor and ACE Personal Trainer.  Often referred to as an “old soul,” Catherine enjoys playing in the kitchen, digging in the dirt, and repurposing old stuff.  She has one sweet dog, too many cats and at least 150,000 honey bees.

Catherine was introduced to yoga through the rigorous Hot 26 style.  A self-proclaimed “gym rat” at the time, her workout regimen was rigid and unforgiving.  In 2018, her family was amid moving from their century-old farm when her mother received a terminal diagnosis. Circumstances didn’t allow for the pursuit of fitness as she knew it.  At just the right time, she accidently found herself in a hot power flow class.  The mind, body, and spirit expansion she experienced in vinyasa flow brought her a new perspective on health. Catherine completed her 200-hour YTT at Y2 in Charlotte.  You will find her to be a calming guide through an intense, sensibly creative flow.  

Haley Sklut

Yoga Instructor

Haley is a Charlotte native who enjoys being active and challenging her body and mind. She was introduced to yoga for the first time while in college. Since then, Haley has deepened her practice and noticed huge improvements in her mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Her goal is to empower and motivate others through movement and mindfulness.
 
As a practitioner of over 10 years, Haley received her 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher certification in 2020. She teaches vinyasa flow classes that connect the movement to the breath and allow her students to connect to themselves, both physically and mentally. Haley is also a Mindset Coach who integrates movement and mindfulness in her coaching business. She uses a holistic approach to support people in gaining confidence in their lives. When she is not coaching or teaching yoga, she loves to spend time with friends and family, cook delicious meals, and explore new places.
 Martha Blanchard

Martha Blanchard

Yoga Instructor

Martha Laquidara-Blanchard (500E-RYT) began her yoga journey in 2009. She became certified in Therapeutic Yoga and Advanced Vinyasa Flow with Stephanie Keach and her staff at The Asheville Yoga Center in 2012. But she learned the most from her personal practice with a group of yoga students and teachers led by Sarah Faircloth in Charlotte, NC. During this advanced class she built a strong foundation of Anusara Yoga intertwined with the knowledge of Rajanaka. In 2016 she owned her own studio, Sundara Yoga in Lowell, NC. She completed her advanced certification in Unity Yoga with Mara Healy in 2017. She has trained with Gary Kraftsow, Douglas Brooks, and Andrey Lappa as well as various other masterful teachers. 

Martha has a strong personal asana practice, meditation practice and is an avid reader of various yoga texts. She continues to broaden her knowledge of yoga postures and their relationship to functional movement. This ongoing process of learning provides the fresh insights that inspire her intuitive teaching style. Healthy breathing, functional alignment, and balanced energy flow are consistent points of focus in her classes. Her descriptive posture placements help the student create more space in their bodies, taking their yoga practice to the next level.
